Part Twenty-six
Opening Day
Opening day crowds were huge. People loved to see where something awful happened. Claire was at the front gate into the park, greeting the new guests before the park officially opened.
Her nephews were there, over the protests of their mother.
“Hello everyone. I’m Claire Dearing, the head of operations here at the new Jurassic World. You’ll find our park a little different than before - cleaner, safer and more fun for everyone. I’d like to introduce you to my nephews, Zach and Gray. These boys are my heroes and we’d all like to welcome you to the new Jurassic World.”
The crowds cheers and pushed ever so slightly toward the gates.
Claire turned to the boys and whispered. “Let’s hope it all goes well.”
Zach gave her a thumbs up and Gray threw his arms around her waist. Claire smiled a real smile for the first time that day.
