Baby Birdie
Owen watched as the little raptors poked holes in their eggs and rolled out, squeaking and snapping at one another. He made sure to take each one of the three in his hands and talk to them, let them nibble his hands and let them pick up his scent.
They were cute but already aggressive and hungry. He fed them bits of meat as they tussled with one another to get to the choice tidbit first.
One of the three was bold. She climbed up his arm and onto his shoulder. She would be his beta. He named her Birdie.
